Car insurance across Massachusetts, explained in your language

Massachusetts requires four coverages on every registered car. We compare carriers, explain each line, and issue your RMV paperwork the same day.

Auto insurance

  • Bodily injury to others
  • Personal injury protection
  • Uninsured motorist
  • Property damage
  • Collision
  • Comprehensive
  1. Bodily injury to others

Pays if you injure someone else in an accident. Required in Massachusetts.

  2. Personal injury protection

Pays your medical bills and lost wages after an accident, no matter who caused it.

  3. Uninsured motorist

Protects you if the driver who hits you has no insurance.

  4. Property damage

Pays for damage you cause to another person's car or property.

  5. Collision

Repairs your own car after an accident. Usually required if you have a loan or lease.

  6. Comprehensive

Theft, glass, weather, and hitting a deer on Route 24.

Massachusetts

Managed competition

Massachusetts lets carriers set their own rates, so the same driver can get very different prices. That is why comparing matters.

Safe Driver Insurance Plan

Accidents and violations add points that raise your premium for years. We show you how points work before you pay for them.

Registration needs insurance first

The RMV requires a stamped RMV-1 form from your agent. We provide it in the office or by email.

Every week we insure first US policies, relatives who just arrived, rideshare and delivery drivers, and teens on a family policy. If you have a foreign license or no US driving history, tell us. We know which carriers give credit for it.

Can I pay monthly?

Yes. Most carriers offer monthly plans with a down payment. We will show you the total cost of each option.

What if I lend my car to a cousin without a license?

Your policy may not cover an unlicensed driver, and Massachusetts can fine the owner. Call us before you lend the car and we will explain your options.

Do you handle rideshare or delivery coverage?

Yes. Personal policies exclude paid driving, so Uber, Lyft and DoorDash drivers need an endorsement or a commercial policy. We compare both.
