Terms of service

The services are provided by BellTrust Insurance Agency, Inc., an independent insurance agency licensed in Massachusetts. We are not an insurance company. We represent several insurance carriers, and your coverage is issued by the carrier named on your policy.

We are paid commissions by the carriers we place business with. You can ask us how we are paid on your policy at any time.

The content on our website and the answers our AI assistant gives are general information about insurance. They are not an insurance policy, a binder, legal advice, or a promise of coverage. Your coverage is determined only by the terms of the policy a carrier issues to you.

Quotes from our online rater, our team or our AI assistant are estimates based on the information you give us. Every quote is subject to the carrier’s underwriting, rating and approval, and the final price can change.

Submitting information through our website, the online rater or the AI assistant does not bind, change or cancel coverage. Coverage begins, changes or ends only when a licensed BellTrust agent or the carrier confirms it to you in writing.

You agree to give complete and accurate information and to tell us when it changes. Carriers rely on it, and false or missing information can lead to a higher price, a denied claim or a cancelled policy. If you give us information about other people, such as drivers in your household, you confirm that you have their permission to do so.

Our online rater and client center are hosted by EZLynx at agentinsure.com. EZLynx’s terms and privacy notice apply while you use those pages, in addition to these terms. We are not responsible for their availability or for errors on those pages, and information you enter there is sent to us as described in our privacy policy.

Our AI assistant is an automated system. It is not a licensed insurance agent. When you use it, you understand that:

• Its answers can be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on them to choose or change coverage. Confirm important details with a licensed agent.
• It cannot bind, change or cancel coverage, or promise a price.
• Your conversations, and recordings of phone calls, are stored in our CRM and reviewed by our staff as described in our privacy policy.
• You should not share Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, or detailed medical information with it.
• You can ask to speak with a person at any time.

We may limit or end access to the assistant for anyone who misuses it.

Calls with our office, including calls handled by our AI assistant, may be recorded. We tell you at the start of a call when it is recorded or handled by an automated assistant.

You agree that we may send you notices and documents electronically, and that we may call you at the number you give us about your request, including with an automated or artificial voice. We will not place marketing calls with an automated or AI voice without your prior written consent, and consent is never required to buy insurance.

You agree not to:

• Use the services for anything unlawful or fraudulent, or give false information to obtain a quote or a policy.
• Try to disrupt, overload, scrape, copy or gain unauthorized access to the services or our systems.
• Try to trick or manipulate the AI assistant into ignoring its instructions or revealing other people’s information.
• Upload malicious code or impersonate another person.

The website’s text, design, logos and images belong to BellTrust or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use needs our written permission.

Our website links to sites we do not control, including carrier websites and EZLynx. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

We work to keep the services accurate and available, but they are provided as is and as available. We do not promise that they will be uninterrupted or error free, or that every page is current.

To the extent the law allows, BellTrust is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages that result from using the website, the online rater or the AI assistant. Nothing in these terms limits a carrier’s obligations under your policy or any liability that Massachusetts law does not allow us to limit.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any dispute about them will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.

These terms are available in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Cape Verdean Creole and Haitian Creole. If the versions differ, the English version controls.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
